Well, I wasn't planning on getting another guitar, but I've been spending too much time over the past two months tuning the Ryan 12-string to alternate tunings and back to standard. So, I thought, to save time retuning and to lengthen the life of strings (I've already restrung the Ryan five times!), maybe I need another 12-string.
