While trying out an 1833 Series 000-14 Fret Cutaway 12-string and several McPherson guitars at Gryphon Stringed Instruments, I thought they were all very nice instruments, but none of them spoke to me. The last two guitars Matt brought out were Beneteaus, both with Fiddleback Mahogany back and sides and Adirondack Spruce tops. The first he brought out was an OM. It was closer to something I wanted, but not quite there. Then he brought out the Concert Standard, and it was perfect!
