Although TaylorStock ended almost a month ago, September 5, 2002 finally completed the weekend, when JW was visited by the big brown truck around 2:30 p.m. Although I do not have pictures of his newly acquired K-14c, I do have some fuzzy pictures of the first JW guitar on display at TaylorStock.
And, although it seems that JW knew about the K-14c, he didn't know about another smaller package that he would get at the same time. Here's the Baby Taylor almost clean of signatures and just with Taylor employees' signatures.
And here is the same guitar with the signatures of TaylorStock attendees.
JW, we know that you wanted to attend TaylorStock and were disappointed when circumstances prevented your attendance. We hope that the Baby Taylor gives you some consolation. You were in everyone's thoughts and prayers during the event. We pray that your health continues to improve.
We would also like to thank Buffalo Brothers in Carlsbad for providing the Baby Taylor at cost. They have GAS-ed me into many fine guitars over the last six years. :) And thanks go to Jonathan Forstot for running around getting signatures right before TaylorStock began ... like he did not have anything else to do. :) :)
