I hardly had my first Ryan Cathedral for a week before pondering my next Ryan ... and two months later (October 31, 2003), I found myself looking through Brazilian Rosewood with Kevin! Here is the set I decided upon.
I had not decided on the soundboard of the guitar at the time, but I was leaning toward Redwood, a wood Kevin had not built with previously but was enthusiastic to try. He did not have any in his shop, but promptly sought some out and a few months later (January 9, 2004), he was ready to show me his sets. I narrowed it down to three that caught my eye (a very difficult choice) and asked Kevin which he thought he would go with (or if he would choose something else). He chose the one to his right.
